You can put this solution on YOUR website! How do i find the slope and Y intecept of the problem y=-3/4x + 4 so i can graph it?
----
The slope is -3/4
The y-intercept is 4
-----------------------------
Graphing:
Put your pencil point on the y-intercept: (0,4)
---
Since the slope is -3/4, move the pencil point 3 down to (0.1).
Then move the pencil point 4 to the right to (4,1).
Mark (0,4) and (4,1) and draw a line thru them to get:

You can put this solution on YOUR website! y=-3/4x + 4 so i can graph it
this is in the slope-intercept form for the equation of a line
y=mx+b
so,
the (x,y) values are the points that will vary along the line
m=the slope of the line
b = the point (0,y) were the line crosses or cuts the y-axis
so, the slope is -3/4 and the y-intercept =4
to graph start at the y-intercept or (0,4)
from that point use the slope to plot the rise/run, so starting at (0,4) go down 3 and over 4. continue for a few points. now go back to the y-intercept (0,4) and go up 3 and to the left 4. continue for a few points. connect the dots for the image of the line.
