Hi,
solving
5/7(x+21)= 30 mulitplying each side of the equation by 7 so as all denominators = 1
5(x+21) = 30*7
5x + 105 = 210
5x = 105
x = 21
CHECKING our Answer
5/7(42) = 30
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 5/7x+5/7*21=30
5/7x+105/7=30
5/7x+15=30
subtract 15
5/7x=15
divide by 5/7
x=15/(5/7)
x=15*(7/5)
x=105/5
x=21
