Hi,
y = x^2
y − b = (x − a)² is a translation of y = x² to (a, b).
translation 4 units to the left and 3 units upward a = -4 and b = 3
y - 3 = (x+4)^2
y = (x+4)^2 + 3
f(x) = (x+4)^2 + 3
