There are 13 gallons left in the tank at the end. How many gallons does a full tank hold?
the answer is 48 but I don't know how to solve it Please Help!

After the first third of the car's gas has been used, we see that there are 10+9+13 = 32 gallons left.
Therefore, 32 = (2/3)x where x is the number of gallons in a full tank. Multiplying by 3/2, we get x = 48 gallons.
