You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a child has 5 wooden blocks. He arranged it in a row and named it 1,2,3,4,5. What is the probability in numbered form that it is...
Less than 20,000?
Ans:
1 way to pick the 10,000 place
then 4*3*2*1 to pick the remaining places.
Ans: (1*4!)/5! = 1/5
-------------------------------
More than 40,000?
Ans: 2 ways to pick the 10,000 place
then 4*3*2*1 to pick the remaining places
Ans [2*4!]/5! = 48/120 = 0.4
