2X%2F%28X%2B12%29+=+2%2F%28x%2B12%29+%2B1 Subtract (2%2F%28x%2B12%29) from both sides.
2x%2F%28x%2B12%29-%282%2F%28x%2B12%29%29+=+1 Simplify the left side.
%282x-2%29%2F%28x%2B12%29+=+1 Multiply both sides by (x%2B12)
%282x-2%29+=+%28x%2B12%29 Subtract x from both sides.
x-2+=+12 Add 2 to both sides.
