I dont get it I worked and I dont know what im doing

If the ratios are
2:5:7:10:20:50
and the smallest portion is 14,000 pounds, we can call the smallest portion 2x...
Thus the sum of the treasure is
2x + 5x + 7x + 10x + 20x + 50x = 94x
and since 2x = 14,000 we have
x = 7,000 so that
94x = 94(7,000) = 658,000 pounds of gold.
Arggghhhh!
