Question 378510:
i have to find the quadratic function whose graph passes through the following given points: (-2,7)(1,-2)(2,3). I am REALLY not at all sure about this! I know my "x" in the quad eq. corresponds to the x-coordinate, and the "y" likewise, but how is this denoted, and how do you get just one quad eq. from a system of three? Please help! I'm not even sure where to begin! Thx!
You can put this solution on YOUR website! plugging the points into the general equation will give you a system of three equations in a, b, and c
just solve the system for the three values
