Hi,
making the choice... after determining the equation of the line....
the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line y = mx + b
where m is the slope and b the y-intercept.
line with a slope of 3
y = 3x + b Using ordered pair Pt(-1,2) to solve for b
2 = 3*-1 + b
5 = b
y = 3x + 5
answer D would be the correct choice
