You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Hi,
the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line y = mx + b
where m is the slope and b the y-intercept.
3x-6y=12 Solving for y to put into the slope-intercept form
3x - 12 = 6y
y = (3/6)x - 2 Or y = (1/2)x - 2 Pt(0,-2) and (4,0) points on the line
m = (1/2) As y increases/decreases by 1, x increases/decreases by 2
