Question 37766: Write the equation of the line with slope 4 and y-intercept (0, –5). Then graph the line
Answer by fractalier(6550) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! We plug these facts into the slope-intercept form of a line,
y = mx + b
and get
y = 4x - 5
To graph it, plot a point at (0, -5), then go up 4 and over 1 to (1, -1), snce the slope is four, and plot another point...then connect the dots...
