Let x be the number of cards to be printed.
Then change the facts in the problem into an algebraic equation...
25 + .02x = 10 + .05x
Now multiply all by 100 to clear the decimals...
2500 + 2x = 1000 + 5x
Subtract 1000 from both sides
1500 + 2x = 5x
Now subtract 2x and then divide by 3...
1500 = 3x
x = 500 cards
