Label your triangle with A at the vertex between the congruent sides and B and C at the other two vertices. Construct the segment from A to the mid-point of BC. Call the midpoint D. AB is congruent to AC because it is an isosceles triangle. Angle B and angle C are congruent because it is an isosceles triangle. BD is congruent to DC because of the definition of midpoint. ABD congruent to ACD by SAS.
