Question 375283: A mathematics class contains 26 students. Of these, 14 are economics majors, 15 are first-year students, and 7 are neither. What is the probability that the person is both an economics major and a first year student?
The textbook contains a Venn Diagram in the solution. I'm having trouble figuring out how they got the intersection (which is 10) between the economics majors (Event E) and the first year students (Event F) with the available information.
Thanks in advance

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
10/26 = 5/13
