Question 375157:  I can't remember graphing at all and am attempting to help my daughter with her home work. Can you explain how to solve the following problem so that I may understand and explain to her?

You can  put this solution on YOUR website! This is a linear equation.  To graph a linear equation, you need two points on the line. If x = 0, then y = 0. (Just substitute x=0 into the eqution.) If x = 3, then 3 = 3y, or y = 1.  Hence two points on the line are (0,0) and (3,1).  Plot these two points on the line and try your best two draw a straight line through them.
