2x%3E6x%2B11-9 Subtract 9 from both sides.


2x-6x%3E11-9 Subtract 6x from both sides.


-4x%3E11-9 Combine like terms on the left side.


-4x%3E2 Combine like terms on the right side.


x%3C%282%29%2F%28-4%29 Divide both sides by -4 to isolate x. note: Remember, the inequality sign flips when we divide both sides by a negative number.
