You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Hi,
Let x represent the width, then the length would be (x+4)
Perimeter is the Sum of all sides
x + x + (x+4) + (x+4) = 20in
solving for x
4x + 8 = 20in
4x = 12in
x = 3in, the width. Length is 7in (3+4)
CHECKING our Answer
2*3in + 2*7in = 6in + 14in = 20in
