Hi,
Let x represent the number of games tied. Then (x + 12)is the number won
Question states
1*x + 2*(x+12) = 69 total points
3x + 24 = 69
3x = 45
x = 15, the number of games tied. 27 games won. (15+12)

45 + 2*27 = 45 + 54 = 69
