I know this looks funny but you take (y-3)squared divided by 8 and then there is a division sign in the middle of that and 8y-24 divided by 64. Hope that helps.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! strictly, you cannot divide fractions, but what you can do it turn the second fraction over and then multiply instead:
the 64's and the y-3 cancel themselves (NOTE: if this was all equal to something, I would not cancel the y-3 terms, as that would lose you some information and hence a possible solution. But here, we are just simplyfying the big fraction. We get (y-3) as the final solution.
