You can put this solution on YOUR website!
%28%286a%29%2F%282b%29%29%2A%28%2812b%29%2F%283a%5E2%29%29 Start with the given expression.

%28%286a%29%2812b%29%29%2F%28%283a%5E2%29%282b%29%29 Combine the fractions.

%286%2A12ab%29%2F%286a%5E2%2Ab%29 Multiply

%286%2A12ab%29%2F%286a%2Aa%2Ab%29 Rewrite a%5E2 as a%2Aa

Highlight the common terms.

Cancel out the common terms.

12%2Fa Simplify.

So %28%286a%29%2F%282b%29%29%2A%28%2812b%29%2F%283a%5E2%29%29=12%2Fa where none of the variables are zero.
