Let t = number of ties
given:

By substitution:
2%2A%28t+%2B+11%29+%2B+t+=+55
2t+%2B+22+%2B+t+=+55
3t+=+33
t+=+11
and, since
w+=+t+%2B+11
w+=+22
They won 22 games and tied 11
