You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You divide by 12 to write the equation in slope-intercept form y = mx + b. The slope of the line would be m, the y-intercept, b.
The equation then becomes y+=+-9x%2F12+%2B+4%2F12+=+-3x%2F4+%2B+1%2F3. Thus the slope is -3/4 and the y-intercept is 1/3.

Because you have to get the equation into the slope-intercept form: y=mx+b
12y=-9x+4
y=-9x/12 + 4/12
=-3x/4 + 1/3
m=-3/4
