i hope i understand:

+ln%28%28e%5E%28x%2F2%29%29%29+ since square root means a power of (1/2)

and now we get x/2 as the answer since natural log and "raise to power e" are opposites of each other and hence cancel each other out, just like (3*5)/5) would be 3 since the multiply by 5 and the divide by 5 are opposites and so cancel themselves out.

e is just a number, just think of it like 2 or 10 or whatever. We write it as e since the number is never ending, so how can we write it? As soon as we stop writing it, we have an approximate value, not the real value. So the way round that is to give it a name and e is its name just like the number 3.1415... is called pi for exactly the same reason.
