let x be an odd number, the other two consecutive numbers will be x+2 and x+4.
adding them up and solving for x
x+x+2+x+4 =25
3x+6 = 25
3x=25-6
3x= 19
x=19/3
since we didnt get an integer let alone odd, so the sum of three consecutive integers cant be odd.
