Question 372606: m(x)=6x-9 and k(x)= 2-3x/6x
Find and simplify: (m-k)(x)
(m-k)(x)=m(x)-k(x)
=(6x-9)-(2-3x/6x)
This is as far as I can get...any help on finishing this would be great. Thank you.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
=(6x-9)-(2-3x/6x)

This notation is a bit confusing, since the last parenthesis were simply (2-1/2)=3/2.

if x=0 this is not defined, if x<>0 :

=6x - 9 - 2 -(-3/6) = 6x - 11 + 1/2 = 6x - 21/2

However if the 2nd parenthesis were (2-3x)/6x = 1/3x - 1/2

= 6x -9 -1/3x + 1/2 = 6x - 1/3x - 17/2
