You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Work the problem backwards.
Find the probability that the card is an ace.
P%28A%29=4%2F52=1%2F13
Find the probability that the card is a heart.
P%28H%29=13%2F52=1%2F4
Remember to subtract the ace of hearts so you don't double count,
So the probability that the card is either a heart or an ace is,
P=P%28A%29%2BP%28H%29-1%2F52=4%2F52%2B13%2F52-1%2F52=16%2F52=4%2F13
The probability that is neither a heart nor an ace is that probability subtracted from 1.
P=13%2F13-4%2F13
highlight%28P=9%2F13%29
