Question 371309: Write interval notation
{x|x>6|
I am totally confused on how to do this, to many explanations on how to write interval notation, but nothing looks like the above problem. The answer I got was (6,x) not sure if correct and do not know how to check it. Thank you for your help.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Think about the limits.
The lower limit is 6 and doesn't include six.
There is no upper limit.
.
.
.
(6,infinity)
.
.
The left parentheses signifies that the number 6 is not inlcuded in the region.
If it was it would have been a "[" bracket instead.
The infinity symbol symbolizes that there is no upper limit.
