Question 370358: Solve using the elimination method. Show your work. If the system has no solution or an infinite number of solutions, state this.
3x + 11y = 34.5
9x – 7y = -16.5
i need a graph can u explain this to me

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Multiply the 1st eqn by 3, then subtract.
--------------------
The graphs are straight lines, so you need 2 points.
3x + 11y = 34.5
x = (-11/3)y + 11.5
Pick values for y, find x.
Plot the points.
Draw a line thru them.
-------------
y = 3, x = 0.5 --> (0.5,3)
y = -3, x = 22.5 --> (22.5,-3)
Plot the points (or find other points) and draw a line thru them.
Do the same for the other eqn
