Train 1 speed = 80 km/h
in 1/2 hour it would have traveled 40 km.
...
This is when train 2 leaves A
..
the time taken by train1 to travel x-40 km= time taken by train B to travel x km.
..
speed of train 1 =80km/h
time train 1 = (x-40)/80
...
speed of train2 = 100 km/h
distance = x
..
time train2 = x/100
...
x/100 = (x-40)/80
80x=100(x-40)
80x=100x-4000
100x-80x= 4000
20x=4000
/20
x= 200 km the length of the route.
