You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If 8/3 of a cetain number is subtracted from eight times the number the result is 128. Find the number.
8x - (8/3)x]= 128
One number is 20 more than a second number. Their sum is twenty six. What are the numbers?
lets second number be x
first number = x+20
x+x+20=26
2x+20 =26
If tem times the smaller of two consectuve integers is added to six times the larger, the result is 118. Find the integers.
..
x, x+1 be the integers
10 times smaller = 10x
6 times larger = =6(x+1)
10x+6(x+1)= 110
