You can put this solution on YOUR website!
From
x = log(2) 1/4
we can change this into the exponential form
2^x = 1/4
Now 1/4 is 1 / 2^2, so 1/4 = 2^(-2) and we have
2^x = 2^(-2)
Thus
x = -2
