Sara's age = S
Tom's age = T
S = 6+3T ........(1)
S-T = 28 ........(2)
put the relation (1) in the relation (2), you will get
6+3T-T = 28
6+2T = 28
2T = 22
T = 22/2 = 11
so the age of Tom is 11 Years.
