Question 369662: Solve the following to the nearest hundredth.
+6%5E%28x-3%29+=+11+
I am only able to get this problem so far, then I get stuck. This is what I have done so far:
+log6%5E%28x-3%29+=+log11+
+%28x-3%29log6+=+log11+
+xlog6+-+3log6+=+log11+
+xlog6+=+log11+%2B+3log6+
I am not sure as to what the next step in solving this problem is, the three at the beginning of the 3log6 is my issue with solving this equation

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
6^(x-3) = 11
log[6](6^(x-3)) = log[6](11)
x-3=1.34
x=3+1.34
x=4.34
