Question 36965: find the domain of f(x)=1/x-3

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Domain means "all allowable values of x."
Your function exists everywhere except where the denominator goes to zero.
You are never allowed to divide by zero.
You can see that when x = 3, the denominator is zero.
Thus the domain is "the set of all x such that x is not equal to 3."
{x:x≠3}
