Question 369324: I need a response to this question. The function p(d)=1+d/33, gives pressure, in atmospheres (atm), at a depth d in the sea (d is in feet). Note that P(0)=1 atm, p (33)=2, and so on . Find the pressure at 150 atm (type an integer or simplified fraction.)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Do you mean find the pressure at 150 ft? or
Do you mean find the depth when the pressure is 150 atm?
I'll work it both ways.
Pressure at d=150ft,
p%28150%29=1%2B150%2F33=33%2F33%2B150%2F33=183%2F33=highlight_green%2861%2F11%29atm
.
.
.
Depth at p=150atm,
150=1%2Bd%2F33
d%2F33=149
highlight%28d=4917%29ft
