Question 369314: Find the y-intercept and slant asymptote of the following:
y=%28-x%5E2-3%29%2F%28x-2%29

y-intercept:
-x-3=0
x+=+3i
Slant asymptote: -x-2? I used synthetic division below, not sure if this is right or not.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You're right, the slant asymptote is y = -x-2. y-intercept is y+=+%28-0%5E2-3%29%2F%280-2%29+=+-3%2F-2+=+3%2F2.
