A quadratic equation is in the form ax%5E2%2Bby=c If you subtracted c from both sides you would have the equation ax%5E2%2Bby-c=0 This is factorable by the quadratic formula x+=+%28-b+%2B-+sqrt%28+b%5E2-4%2Aa%2Ac+%29%29%2F%282%2Aa%29+ plugging your values for a,b,c into this formula will give you the two values (two because of the + -).
