Find all numbers for which the rational expression is undefined: x+3/(x+2)(x+5) Answer by lefty4ever26(59) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Rational expressions are undefined whenever the Denominator equals zero.
so set the factors on the bottom equal to zero.
(x+2)=0 (x+5)=0 Solve both for x
x=-2 , x=-5
So the rational expression is undefined at x= -2 and -5.
