You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In a chemistry class, 5 liters of a 4% silver iodide solution must be mixed with a 10% solution to get a 6% solution. How many liters of the 10% solution are needed?
Let x = number of liters of 10% solution
.04*5 + .10x = .06(5+x)
0.2 + .10x = 0.3 + .06x
.04x = 0.1
x = 2.5
