7+=+4.495%281.016%29%5Et,
ln%287%2F4.495%29+=+tln1.016,
ln7+-+ln4.495+=+tln1.016,
%28ln7+-+ln4.495%29%2Fln1.016+=+t.
t = 27.9 years. Thus the population becomes 7 million at 1980 + 27.9 = 2007.9, which is still part of 2007 (around late October? haha)
