Let the smaller number be "x"
The larger is "x+1"
EQUATION:
x^2 + (x+1)^2=265
2x^2+2x+1=265
2x^2+2x-264=0
x^2+x-132=0
(x+12)(x-11)=0
x=11 then x+1=12
If x=-12 the x+1=-11
