SOLUTION: Explain how the graph of g(x)=3x-5 can be transformed into the graph of h(x)=3x+5.
h(x)=3x+5
h(x)=3x-5+10
h(x)=g(x)+10
Can someone explain where the 10 came from? I am not

Question 367338: Explain how the graph of g(x)=3x-5 can be transformed into the graph of h(x)=3x+5.
h(x)=3x+5
h(x)=3x-5+10
h(x)=g(x)+10
Can someone explain where the 10 came from? I am not following the process here. Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! The question is: what number can be added to -5 to get 5? The answer is 10 (since -5+10=5). So that's why the 10 is in there.
