12 + 16x - 5 ≥ 135
16x ≥ 128
x ≥ 8

First, try to isolate the variable to the left-side of the inequation:
4(3+4x)-5 + 5 ≥ 135 + 5
4(3+4x) ≥ 140 Start with adding or subtracting
4(3+4x)/4 ≥ 140/4 Than use multiplication or division to isolate
3+4x ≥ 35
3-3+4x ≥ 35 - 3
4x ≥ 32
4x/4 ≥ 32/4
x ≥ 8
check by plugging 8 back into the inequality to see if it is true.
