You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the cube has six identical square faces

the area of each face is the square of the edge length

the total surface area is six times the area of one face

...
we all know that cube has all sides/ edges equal.
Take a cube/box in your hand and number the faces of the cube.
you will have 6 faces numbered.
..
each face has an area with two edges of 11 ft each.
Area of 1 face = L*L = 11*11 = 121 sq.ft.
..
you have numbered 6 faces on your box/cube.
total area = 6 multiplied by area of 1 face.
..
6*121= 726 sq.ft is the total area.
..
To make a quick calculation you use the formula
Total surface area of cube = 6*L^2
6*11*11= 726 sq. ft
