Question 365667: Two cars travel 210 miles from Harrisburg to Pittsburgh. Car A makes the trip in 3 1/2 hours. Car B travels 10 miles per hour slower than Car A. How long would it take fcar b to make the trip.

I figure car a drove 1 mph because 3 1/2 is equal to 120 minutes. That would mean car b is traveling at a negative 9 miles per hour and I'm getting lost. Please help me solve this math question. Thank You

Two cars travel 210 miles from Harrisburg to Pittsburgh. Car A makes the trip in 3 1/2 hours. Car B travels 10 miles per hour slower than Car A. How long would it take fcar b to make the trip.
Car A: 210 miles/3.5 hr = 60 mph
Car B goes 50 mph
210/50 = 4.2 hours
-------------------------
I figure car a drove 1 mph because 3 1/2 is equal to 120 minutes. 3.5 hours = 210 minutes.
That would mean car b is traveling at a negative 9 miles per hour and I'm getting lost. Please help me solve this math question. Than
