Note: simplifying is done the same regardless of the type of numbers involved

+%28%280.23+%2B+1.63%29%2F-0.3%29 

adding the numbers in the numerator

+%281.86%2F-0.3%29

then dividing by the number in the dnominator

highlight%28-6.2%29
