cody time = 3hours

Cody D= 3*20 = 60 miles.

they were 435 miles away.
435-60= 375 miles.
...
alberto drove 375 miles in 2+3 = 5 hours
Alberto s=d/t
s= 375/5
s= 75 mph. Alberto's speed.
