Expresssing as a product (x + ?)(x- ?) signs according to trinomial given

x^2 + 2x - 80

(x + ?)(x - ?)

Ask your self what two numbers have a difference of 2 and a product of 80??

(x + 10)(x - 8)   10x-8x = 2x  and 8*10 = 80
