Question 364476: Hi, I am in need of desperate help. If someone could please show me the steps I would following to obtain the answer, I would greatly appreciate it.
Section 12.5, # 16
A bird species in danger of extinction has a populatiion that is decreasing exponentially (A=A^oekt). Five years ago the population was at 1400 and today only 1000 of the birds are alive. Once the population drops below 100, the situation will be irreversible. When will this happen?

I appreciate your assistance.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A bird species in danger of extinction has a populatiion that is decreasing exponentially (A=A^oekt). Five years ago the population was at 1400 and today only 1000 of the birds are alive. Once the population drops below 100, the situation will be irreversible. When will this happen?

What's the o in the equation?
A=A^oekt
I don't think that's correct.
