You can put this solution on YOUR website! 1.4/3x-1/6(x+12)=12
4x/3-(x+12)/6=12
(2*4x-x-12)/6=12
(8x-x-12)/6=12
(7x-12)/6=12 cross multiply
7x-12=6*12
7x-12=72
7x=72+12
7x=84
x=84/7
x=12 ans.
------------------
2. 4(x-2)=-(3x+1)
4x-8=-3x-1
4x+3x=-1+8
7x=7
x=7/7
x=1ans.
-----------------------------
3. 42 is 28% of what number?
42=.28x
x=42/.28
x=150 ans.
-----------------------------
4. -3+x=5
x=5+3
x=8 ans.
-------------------------
50 3(x-4)=2x
3x-12=2x
3x-2x=12
x=12 ans.
